TRAMATEX is appointed after a loss, at the amicable (pre-litigation) stage, by cargo insurers and carriers' liability insurers, as well as by insurance brokers and agents, shipping lines and other principals.

It organises and carries out amicable technical surveys, conducted jointly with all parties.

Based in Paris (Boulogne-Billancourt and Meudon) and, since 2025, in Angoulême, the firm responds quickly across the Paris region and neighbouring regions, as well as along the Paris-Bordeaux corridor.
